History and Geography are usually taught through a cross-curricular approach linked together to a particular topic.

Each year group has specific historical and geographical themes. We aim to build on the children's own knowledge and extend this by visiting relevant places of interest and by borrowing artefacts from local sources for the children to see and handle as appropriate. We also invite both local residents and professionals into school to share their experiences with the children.
